Katie was asked to tell us what makes her a leader among other realtors in Michigan.

1. How long have you been in the real estate industry? 

Five years

2. What made you decide to become a realtor? 

The idea of being my own boss.

3. What differentiates you from other realtors? 

I think outside the box, coming up with creative ways to find solutions in order to get my clients the best outcome. I always answer my phone. I listen to my clients wants and needs and consistently deliver. It's not a paycheck to me, it's a privilege to work with my clients and my only thought is providing outstanding service.

4. What piece of advice would you give someone looking to buy a new house? 

Hire a FULL-TIME real estate professional. Don't work with just anyone. Interview and read reviews about your potential agent. Go with an agent who is knowledgeable and experienced. This will be the biggest purchase of your life, you need to depend, trust and rely on your agent for guidance.

5. What is your favorite thing to do in Oakland County? 

I live in Oakland County and we're surrounded by lakes. My favorite thing to do, when the weather permits, is go to the beach with my kids.
