first point of contact, the Relocation Consultant
starts your move off on the right foot. They
will provide you with a customized plan, which
includes the estimate, packing tips, and an
explanation of the moving process.
- Move Coordinator: With all the
details that go into moving, it is reassuring
to have someone that’s on top of it all. You
have a question? Your Move Coordinator
has an answer.
- Packer: Personal service and can-do
attitude are the marks of every Packer at University
Moving and Storage. Our Packers understand
that no one knows your possessions better than
you, and they encourage your involvement.
- Driver: Our fully-trained Drivers
are dependable and safe. We have a professional
driver development program that puts University
drivers through a detailed qualification process,
including hands-on safety and customer service
training. Our Drivers are respectful
of both you and your possessions.

climate-controlled environment at a reasonable
price.

We
offer a wide range of packing services to fit
your needs.
- Full-Service Packing: Our
trained packers do it all – leave all
items right where they are in your home and
we’ll
take it from there.
- Fragile-Only Packing: You
get the full pack service, but only for the
items that you designate.
- Self-Pack: We provide
our free “Move
Guide” that offers great tips. You
can also ask your moving consultant for information
on packing materials that are available.
- Loading & Delivery: Getting
your valuables out of your previous home and
into your new one can be tricky. Luckily,
we’re prepared for it.
- Disassembly & Assembly: From
entertainment centers to beds to a swing
set, just tell us what needs to be disassembled
and moved with you. We’ll even
put it back together for you at your destination.
- We
use Residence Protection Pads to protect
the railings, tight corners, and doors.
- Carpet
Covers keep high-traffic areas clean.
- Systematic
Loading boxes are labeled and inventoried
based on rooms and your needs upon arrival.

to us that they arrive safely at their destination.
However, there are times when an item might get
damaged. That’s
why University Moving & Storage offers
valuation protection. It’s protection
that resolves the situation quickly, keeping
you happy throughout our relationship, no
matter what.
There are 2 forms of coverage you
can choose from.
Basic Liability Protection is
no extra charge and provides repair or replacement
up to a maximum of $0.60 per pound per article
should your goods get damaged or lost. However,
when it comes to protecting your belongings,
one size does not fit all. The level
of protection you need may be greater than
what the basic liability protection offers.
Maximum Value Protection is
our protection plan that gives you peace of mind. It’s
the most complete and competitive coverage
offered, giving you full replacement protection
on any item that is damaged during the move.
That means we cover the cost to replace or repair
the item, whichever is less, up to the full value
of the item and deductible.
For instance, have a pair of matching
lamps? When you cover your shipment,
if one is damaged beyond repair and we can’t
find an exact replacement, we will replace
the set*. (*See terms and conditions on the
North American Protection Plan Worksheet and
North American published Tariffs. Complete
replacement of multiple items sets of China,
gold and silver flatware, and crystal glassware
are excluded from pairs and sets protection
under the Maximum Value Protection Plan.)

Receipt of your claim will be acknowledged
and a Claim Adjustor will be assigned. Your
Claim Adjuster will review the claim and contact
you, if necessary, with any further instructions.
Since all damaged items are subject to inspection,
please do not proceed with any repairs and do
not dispose of any damaged items. A "comments" section has been provided
at the end of the claim form should you need
to provide further explanation for any items
or issues referenced in your claim. |
